Ever since I moved to Havre and my children started attending St. Jude Thaddeus School, I have wanted to teach here. My dream finally came true in 2010.

There is such a wonderful community at this school. Parents, teachers, staff and students support each other, Problems are talked about and solutions are offered that everyone can agree on. You can also ask someone for advice if you have a problem. You can support your students when they have done something wonderful and be there for them if they are sad or feeling troubled. You feel safe in this community. Feeling safe allows you to grow.

I also like the curriculum at St. Jude Thaddeus School. It is challenging for the students. We also teach science, social studies, and religion at all grade levels. Although some classes may be challenging, the students excel.

The small classes at St. Jude Thaddeus School allow me to individualize our teaching so that every child can learn. Small classes allow me more one-on-one time with my students. With our class sizes, I am also able to do more detailed projects in Science and Scoial Studies. The smaller classes allow the children a chance to form close friendships with other children not only in their class, but the whole school.

At. St. Judes, we get to go to Mass and have religion classes. I am allowed to talk about God and Heaven. I remind the children that they are never alone; that God is always with them. They can always talk to God. I show the children love everyday whether it comforting them or a pat on the back for a job well done! I can live my faith fully while teaching at St. Jude Thaddues School.

There are so many perks when you teach for a Catholic School. I wouldn’t want to teach anywhere else!
