Do I have to be Catholic to attend St. Jude Thaddeus School?
Our school community is home not only to Catholics, but many other faith denominations. All of us, with one dedicated heart, seek to instill a love of learning and academic excellence while also instilling the importance of faith and prayer so that our students may be prepared to overcome the challenges of an ever changing world.

Are St. Jude Thaddeus School teachers certified?
Our Kindergarten through Eighth grade teachers are fully certified.
Do St. Jude Thaddeus School students qualify for special services through Havre Public Schools?
St. Jude Thaddeus School receives title funding through the State of Montana, which provides for a title one reading specialist. Our children are also provided speech services and other service areas as needed.
How old does my child have to be to attend preschool? What is the age cut-off?
There are two age groups for preschool. The first age group is for 3/4 year old students. Student must be 3 years old by September 10th. The second age group is for 4/5 year old students. Students must be 4 years old by September 10th. 
Does my child have to be potty trained to enter preschool?
Yes, every student must be potty trained prior to entering pre-school.
Do you provide Financial Assistance?
Financial assistance is available to those who qualify for grades K-8. Call the school main office for more information at 406-265-4613.
What are the school’s hours?
The school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. for grades K-8. Preschool morning class goes from 8:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the afternoon class goes from 12:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
What is Extended Care? What are the hours of Extended Care and what is the cost?
Extended Care is a drop in daycare program available to all registered students and siblings that are potty trained and two years of age or older. Extended care is open between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. The cost is $5.00 per hour per child. 
Can preschoolers use Extended Care on days that they don’t have class?
Yes, preschool students may utilize the Extended Care services during all operating hours.
Does St. Jude Thaddeus School have an athletic program?
Yes. St. Jude Thaddeus School offers junior high girls’ volleyball and junior high boys’ and girls’ basketball. Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders may also take track and field through Havre Middle School. 7th and 8th graders can also participate in football and golf through Havre Middle School.
What other extra-curricular activities are available?
During the month of April grade 2-8 students go to the Havre City pool for their physical education class. During this time, students learn basic swimming skills. Other activities include: school plays, grandparents day, wax museum and an annual junior high student ski trip.
