Mrs. Michale Beck

I am Mrs. Beck, the school secretary, and I started my journey as a school volunteer and substitute.  I am a 3rd generation alumna of St. Jude Thaddeus School. I have two children who have already graduated from the school and another in the 6th grade.  When it was time for our children to begin school, my husband and I had mixed ideas.  Coming from public school he thought that is where our kids should also go.  I, on the other hand, having attended both public and St. Jude Thaddeus School said they would be attending here. My years as a student here impacted me so much that I didn’t want my children anywhere else.  Leaving the workforce afforded me the opportunity to volunteer and substitute teach at the school.  One day I was asked to sub for an extended period in the office and now here I am.  I was once told that God was keeping this position for me and that I would know when I was ready. I am ready and I thank God everyday for the job that I love.  I could never dream of being anywhere else.  I look forward to the day when my grandchildren can come to the office and see Mrs. Beck.
